私 ( 橋本泰俊、 2002 年に帰国 ) は、合計約 4 年間LLC にて北京語を学習いたしました。 きっかけは、既に LLC の生徒であった友人に誘われたことと、ちょうど北京語の必要性を強く感じていたことでした。

　LLC にて学習を始めた当初、通常は英語でコミュニケーションをとっていた大陸 ( 主に広東省 ) のお客様に｢簡単な北京語」を披露しますと、大変にびっくりして「どうして話せるんだ？」という話になり、私に対して大変な親しみを感じてくれたようでした。こんなことを繰り返してゆくうちに、話をすることに対する恐怖感や羞恥心が徐々に消えていった事を記憶しています。

　ほとんど日本語のネイティブスピーカーである LAN 先生から、細かい言葉のニュアンスも説明していただきよりわかりやすい授業でした。

　単に教科書をなぞるだけでなく、普段の生活で使える会話も教わることができ、とても役にたちました。

　ただ、私は怠け者で予習復習をサボっていたため、よく怒られたことも記憶に残っています。

　是非皆さんも、 LAN 先生の授業を受けてみてはいかがでしょうか？

My wife and I started studying Chinese in LLC (Lan teacher) from last October. Since I work in China during weekdays, we planned to take lesson 1 time (2hour), every Saturday. We learned pronunciation, basic grammar, and some useful expression used in ordinary life.

At first, we didn't have much confidence of being able to speak Chinese but after several months of training, amazingly, we are able to speak and express our thoughts in Chinese a little bit. This improvement became our confidence to use simple Chinese in our daily life.

We are very happy to have taken this course and are willing to continue.  We recommend LLC for those who are thinking of studying Chinese!!!

My name is 北川明奈 (21 year-old) and my sister is 北川英里奈 (22 year-old). Both of us were LLC teacher Lan’s students from 1996/5-1998/12. Now we are studying at Keio University Japan.

Our family lived in Hong Kong from 1993-1998/12, that was the time we met Lan-our beautiful, intelligent and so sweet Chinese teacher. ( ←Please don’t erase this phrase!!) It was a great joy for us to learn Chinese from her. Now we are taking Mandarin classes at the university. We have seen so many classmates suffering especially from the complexity of Chinese intonation. We are excellent students in the Chinese lecture at our university. Thank the opportunity of studying Chinese from Lan and the solid foundation of Chinese she had helped us to build.

Not only the Language we had learned from her, but we also learnt lot interesting Chinese culture during our learning at LLC. I think it was a special gift for us that we could meet teacher Lan in our life.

　私は一年程度（１９９６－１９９７）、ＬＬＣにて北京語を学びました。最初は別の学校に入学したのですが一ヶ月ぐらい習って、ある原因で止めました。

　ＬＬＣの学校の方針、教え方、そして、その時の印象もよかったので、すぐにＬＬＣに変更してしまいました。結果的には、非常にラッキーであったわけです。それは先生が語学を教えるというより、語学（ Chinese Language ）を楽しむ、そして、深く味わうという教え方だと思います。

　中国文化、習慣などに照らし合わせながら、言葉はコミュニケーションのツールであるというあたりまえのことを色々な違った角度から含蓄ある教え方をしてくれるので、とてもよく味わう事が出来ました。

　多分、誰でも一度ラン先生から習い始めたら、次のレッスンが楽しみになると思います。先生は真面目ながら、ウイットに富み、インテリジェンスを醸し出すことでレッスンの時間も短く感じさせてしまいます。

I am Heidi . My son Ethan is 7 year-old. He has been learning Mandarin at LLC Language Centre from October 2004. He likes to learn mandarin at LLC because he learns basic Mandarin there such as Pin Yin. The school designed particular curriculum that is suitable for his age group and Mandarin level.  Through games, story telling, and different exercises, he has got lot of fun with his teacher and classmates!
